Backtagging: No problem! I kind of need this, since I derp hard when playing him sometimes.
Threadhopping: Generally that's fine; I make sure to mark threads private if they're not open for threadjack. If you're not sure, ask!
Fourthwalling: If it's IC for your character, you're more than welcome! Dug won't understand that your character saw his movie even if told directly, but he sure would be pleased to know that someone is a friend to his master!
Offensive subjects: You can't offend me, dude. If you have something to say to me, I'd actually prefer hearing it straight from you than having you dance around the issue and make me guess.

Hugging this character: Oh yes, definitely! And then ear scritches? And belly rubs! Pleeeease?!
Kissing this character: I guess, if you like hair and slobber. He'll be happy to kiss back!
Flirting with this character/Relationships: Uh.
Easiest way to get on his bad side: Attack his friends.
Easiest way to get on his good side: Exist.
Can I hack his journal?: I don't think he has the wit to make anything private in the first place.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/etc?: Interesting idea! Ask first.
Sexual orientation: Well, he had a lady dog and puppies at the end of the movie...
Fighting with this character: Dug only attacks when he needs to protect someone, so I don't think it's possible to goad Dug into battle. If your character went after him, he'd be incredibly upset and wonder what he did wrong.
Injuring this character: Ask before you do anything worse than draw a little blood, but generally yes!
Killing this character: Nooooooooooooooooooooo
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Absolutely, and enjoy the dog thoughts. They run a little like this: "Oh boy! A toy! My favorite! Oh boy! Bacon! My favorite! Oh boy! A walk! My favorite! Oh boy! Naptime! My favorite!"
Warnings: Dug is completely honest and doesn't know when to be quiet. Never, NEVER give him information you don't want potentially repeated to the worst person possible.
Other Stuff: You don't have to ask if your character would like to play with his collar. He doesn't really like having it messed with, and he'll ICly ask your character to stop, but OOCly you're clear to change the language, poke at at the tracker, or really try anything you like! All I ask is that you don't break the speaky mechanism.
